The exhibition “The Kazakh Steppe in the 18th Century: Valuable Data from the Iranian Archives” continues in Almaty.

The exhibition was organized by the Committee on Archives, Documentation and Book Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and presented valuable documents and rare data related to the history of Kazakhstan found in the Iranian archives to the general public.

The event was attended by Tursyngul Kusaynova, Deputy Director of the State Institution “National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and Gauhar Khairullina, Head of the Department for Work with Personal Documents, who introduced the visitors to the archive documents and provided extensive information about the significance of historical relics.

During the exhibition, historian-scientist, associate professor Atygay Nurlan Adilbekuly, historian-scientist, translator, chief expert of the Eurasian Research Institute Kanay Omir, as well as scientists from the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, participated and expressed their opinions on the scientific and historical significance of the exhibition. The exhibition is one of the important cultural and scientific initiatives aimed at presenting fresh data from our national history and revitalizing historical consciousness.
